More and more of you are choosing a search engine that respects you and your messages of support sent on social networks, application stores or by email, encourage us to redouble our efforts to improve the engine!

The figures prove it: Qwant’s audience grew by 20.4% year-on-year in France. This positions Qwant in 4th position of the most used search engines. This makes Qwant the first alternative search engine. Good news: protecting your privacy is of interest to men (56% of our users) and women (44% of our users).

The study provides further informative information to define our strategic direction. We find that the majority of our users – 60% of them – use Qwant on desktop and 36% on mobile. Progressing on mobile is one of our priorities. It should also be noted that personal data protection issues affect all ages : 23% of our users are under 35 years old and 26% are between 50 and 64 years old.

Over the month of February, 5.07 million unique visits accumulated by French users on Qwant, that’s 1.3 million visits per day.
